Quick Troubleshooting
| Issue | First Step |
|---|---|
| Power bank does not recharge | Check USB-C connection, adapter and LED charging indication |
| Connected device is not charging | Check cable, device compatibility and output connection |
| 65W output is not reached | Check the cable rating and device's supported PD profile |
| Output reduces after several minutes | The 65W peak may reduce automatically after about 5–10 minutes for thermal management |
| Power Button shows no battery indicator | Connect the power bank to a charger to try restoring protection mode |
| Charging is slower with two devices | Disconnect one device and test outputs separately |
| Power bank becomes deformed or leaks | Stop use immediately and arrange safe disposal |
| Power bank gets hot | Uncover it, disconnect if unusually hot and let it cool |
1. Power Bank Does Not Recharge
- Connect a compatible USB-C cable from a suitable wall charger to either supported USB-C input path.
- Check that the cable is fully inserted at both ends.
- Confirm that the wall charger is powered and functioning.
- Look for flashing LED indicators to confirm charging has started.
- Try another compatible charger or cable if available.
- If no indication appears, disconnect accessories and retry with a known-compatible charger.
The USB-C input supports up to 40W per input path, subject to the adapter and supported charging profile.
2. A Connected Device Is Not Charging
- Check that the device is connected to the USB-C output port or built-in USB-C cable.
- Confirm the connector is fully inserted.
- Check that the device supports USB-C charging and the required PD profile.
- Try a compatible cable if the current cable is damaged.
- If multiple devices are connected, disconnect one and test again.
3. Full 65W Charging Is Not Reached
The included cable supports up to 60W and is not a 5A E-Marked cable.
To reach peak 65W output:
- Use a certified 5A E-Marked USB-C-to-USB-C cable (not included).
- Confirm the connected device supports the required USB-C PD profile.
- Use a compatible charger to recharge the power bank.
- Check the device's charging status and allow for normal power negotiation.
A 60W cable may work properly but may limit the power available below the 65W peak.
4. Output Drops After 5–10 Minutes
The power bank's 65W peak output may be sustained for approximately 5–10 minutes, then reduced automatically to manage operating temperature and protect the battery.
- Check whether the power bank is covered or in a hot environment.
- Keep it uncovered on a surface that allows heat to dissipate.
- If it feels unusually hot, disconnect the device and let the power bank cool.
- Continue use once it has cooled.
- If output drops unusually even at moderate load, test with a compatible cable/device and contact support if the issue persists.
5. Power Button Shows No Battery Indicator
The power bank may have entered protection mode after an abnormal condition such as over-charging or over-discharging.
- Disconnect the connected device.
- Connect the power bank to a compatible charger.
- Begin recharging and check whether the LED indicators flash.
- If charging resumes, allow the power bank to recover before using it again.
- If no indicator returns or the device behaves abnormally, stop using it and contact support.
6. Charging Is Slow
- Check the connected device's maximum supported charging input.
- Confirm the USB-C cable supports the expected power level.
- Use a compatible USB-C PD charger.
- Avoid damaged or low-quality cables.
- Keep the power bank uncovered to allow heat to dissipate.
- If two devices are connected, disconnect one and compare charging speed.
7. Two Devices Charge More Slowly Than Expected
Aqua 65 supports output through the USB-C port and built-in USB-C cable, but available power depends on device demand and operating conditions.
- Disconnect both devices.
- Test each charging path with one compatible device.
- Check each cable and device's supported PD profile.
- Reconnect both devices and compare behaviour.
- Do not assume that two devices can each receive the full 65W simultaneously.
8. Power Bank Is Unusually Hot
- Stop charging if the power bank becomes unusually hot.
- Disconnect connected devices if it is safe to do so.
- Remove any clothing or covering and place it on a stable, non-flammable surface.
- Let it cool before using it again.
- If it repeatedly overheats or becomes deformed, leaking or damaged, stop using it and seek safe disposal guidance.
9. Power Bank Is Bulged, Deformed or Leaking
- Stop using the power bank immediately.
- Disconnect it only if this can be done safely.
- Do not puncture, open, crush or attempt to repair it.
- Keep it away from flammable materials.
- Arrange proper disposal through an authorised electronic-waste collection service.
Do not put a damaged lithium-polymer battery in regular household waste.
10. Power Bank Loses Charge During Long-Term Storage
- Store it in a cool, dry place.
- For extended storage, maintain around 50% charge.
- Avoid leaving it at 0% or 100% for long periods.
- Fully charge it before first use or after storage, as appropriate.
