Product Overview

The Portronics Lumistick Snap (POR 3142) is a magnetic selfie stick with a four-leg quadripod stand and a detachable Bluetooth remote. It can be used as a handheld selfie stick or opened into a tripod for hands-free photos, videos, vlogging and video calls.

The magnetic phone holder supports compatible MagSafe phones and phones fitted with the supplied/appropriate magnetic attachment. The telescopic rod adjusts the shooting height, while the phone holder can be repositioned for different viewing angles.

Quick Reference

Do not place a phone or other device exceeding the stated 500g maximum bearing capacity on the holder.

What's Included

The Lumistick Snap and its detachable remote. It does not provide a separate item-by-item accessory list. Confirm the contents against the items in your product package.

Opening the Quadripod Stand

1. Hold the Lumistick Snap securely.
2. Press the bottom switch to release the support legs.
3. Open the support legs outward until the base is fully spread.
4. Place the stand on a flat, stable surface.
5. Check that all support legs are properly opened before mounting your phone.

Take care when opening and folding the legs to avoid pinching your fingers.

Adjusting the Height and Angle

1. Pull up a section of the connecting arm / support column to open the quadripod.
2. Adjust the holder to a suitable angle.
3. Extend the telescopic rod to the required height.
4. Adjust the phone holder for the desired framing.
5. Confirm that the adjustable sections are stable before releasing the phone.

The phone holder supports 360° horizontal rotation and up to 180° tilt adjustment.

Attaching a Phone

iPhone 12 and Later

The product sheet identifies iPhone 12 and later models as compatible because these phones have built-in magnetic rings.

1. Bring the back of the phone close to the magnetic holder.
2. Align the phone with the magnetic ring.
3. Allow it to attach securely.
4. Check that the phone is firmly held before adjusting the stand.

Note: A phone case may reduce magnetic force. Remove the case if the magnetic hold is weak.

Other Phones or Phones Using a Case

Phones without built-in MagSafe magnets need a magnetic attachment sheet / ring.

1. Attach the magnetic sheet to the back of the phone or phone case, following the sheet's placement instructions.
2. Align the quadripod's magnetic ring with the magnetic sheet.
3. Attach the phone and check that it is secure before use.

Pairing the Bluetooth Remote

1. Remove the remote control from its slot on the selfie stick.
2. Slide the switch on the back of the remote to turn it ON.
3. The remote indicator light will begin flashing.
4. On your phone, open Settings → Bluetooth.
5. Turn Bluetooth ON and search for Lumistick Snap.
6. Select Lumistick Snap from the available devices.
7. Wait until the phone displays Connected.
8. The remote indicator light will stop flashing when pairing is successful.

The remote can be used to trigger photos from up to 10 metres away, subject to the phone and surrounding conditions.

Taking Photos with the Remote

1. Pair the remote with your phone.
2. Open the phone's camera application.
3. Position the phone and move to the desired location.
4. Press the remote's Capture Button to take a photo.

The remote is detachable, so it can be used separately from the selfie stick.

Remote Battery and Charging

The remote has a 55mAh rechargeable battery. The official product listing describes the remote as rechargeable via USB.

Folding and Storing the Stand

1. Remove the phone from the magnetic holder.
2. Retract the telescopic rod.
3. Fold the support legs inward carefully.
4. Return the remote to its storage slot.
5. Store the product in a dry place.

Keep fingers clear of the moving joints and support legs while folding the stand.

• Do not use a power supply that exceeds the product's requirements.
• This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old to operate alone.
