Issue 1: Loca is Not Showing in Find My

Check iOS Version

  • Ensure your iPhone or iPad is running iOS / iPadOS 14.5 or later.

Restart Your Device

  • Restart your iPhone or iPad, then open the Find My app again.

Re-enter Pairing Mode

  1. Press the Loca button four times rapidly.

  2. On the fifth press, press and hold the button.

  3. Wait for the beep sound, which confirms the device has entered pairing mode.

Check Apple ID Linking

  • Ensure the Loca is not already linked to another Apple ID.

  • If it is linked, remove it from the previous Apple device before pairing again.

Issue 2: Device Not Connecting During Setup

Keep the Device Close

  • Ensure the Loca is within 5–10 meters of your iPhone or iPad.

Restart Your Device

  • Restart your iPhone or iPad, then attempt the setup again.

Activate Pairing Mode Again

  • Re-enter pairing mode by:

    • Pressing the button four times rapidly

    • Holding on the fifth press until you hear a beep

  • Retry the Find My pairing process.

Issue 3: Play Sound Not Working

Verify Battery Status

  • Confirm that the battery activation sticker has been removed and the battery is active.

Restart the Find My App

  • Close the Find My app completely and reopen it.

Issue 4: Location Not Updating

Enable Location Services

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.

  2. Go to Privacy → Location Services.

  3. Ensure Location Services are turned ON.

Check Internet Connection

  • Confirm that your iPhone has an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or Mobile Data).

Important Clarification

  • Loca is not a GPS device.

  • The location updates only when the tag comes near an Apple device that is part of the Apple Find My network.

Important Notes

  • Loca works exclusively with the Apple Find My network.

  • The device is not compatible with Android devices.

  • An Apple ID is required to complete the setup.

  • The device does not have built-in GPS tracking.

  • Store the device in a dry and safe environment when not in use.
