2. Inflator Won't Turn On

Cordless Mode:

  1. Press and hold the Power Button for a full 3 seconds — a short tap won't switch it on.
  2. Check the battery indicator; if all bars are off, charge the unit via the Type-C port for at least 30–60 minutes before retrying.
  3. If it still won't turn on after charging, this may point to a battery fault — contact support.

Corded Mode:

  1. Start the vehicle first — the cigarette lighter socket may not be powered with the ignition off.
  2. Confirm the cigarette lighter plug and the cable connection to the inflator are both fully seated.
  3. Try a different 12V socket in the vehicle to rule out a socket-side issue.

3. Inflation Is Slow or Doesn't Reach Target Pressure

  1. Detach and re-screw the air hose clockwise onto the inflator — make sure it's fully secure.
  2. Reconnect the hose to the tyre valve tightly.
  3. Confirm the correct pressure unit (PSI/BAR/KPA/KG-CM²) is selected — long-press the Mode & Unit button to check and cycle it.
  4. Confirm the preset target pressure is actually higher than the tyre's current pressure — the inflator won't run if the target is already met.

4. Inflator Stops by Itself

This is expected behavior in two situations, not a fault:

  • After 3 minutes with no load — the inflator shuts off automatically if it detects nothing to inflate.
  • After 90 seconds in standby — if powered on but left idle, it shuts off to save battery.

If it's stopping mid-inflation while actively connected to a tyre, check the hose and valve connection for a leak instead — see the Quick Reference Table above.

5. Battery & Charging Issues

Battery IndicatorMeaning
1 Bar Flashing0%–30% charge
2 Bars ON + 1 Flashing30%–65% charge
3 Bars ONFully charged
  • Use only the included Type-C cable with a 5V USB adapter — charging takes approximately 4–5 hours from empty.
  • If the device hasn't been used for a long period, recharge it every 3 months to protect battery health, and ideally at least once a month during regular use.
  • Avoid storing the inflator below –10°C or above 45°C, as extreme temperatures affect battery performance and lifespan.

6. LED Light Not Behaving as Expected

Press the Light/SOS button to cycle through: White Light ON → Slow Flash → Fast Flash/SOS → OFF. If the light doesn't respond at all while the main display works, this points to a hardware fault — contact support.

7. USB Output Not Charging a Device

  • Confirm Vayu Core's own battery has charge — the USB output draws from the same battery.
  • This is a 5W emergency output for topping up small devices like a phone or earbuds — it will charge slower than a wall charger, which is expected.

8. General Safety Reminders

  • Keep away from children and never leave the inflator unattended while running.
  • Do not expose it to fire, water, or excessive heat, and use it only in dry environments.
  • Stop using it immediately if you notice abnormal noise or overheating.
  • Do not use near flammable or explosive materials.
  • Always confirm the correct pressure unit is selected before inflating.
