1. Hub Is Not Detected

  1. Disconnect the hub from the host device.
  2. Check the host USB-C port for damage or obstruction.
  3. Reconnect the hub securely.
  4. Try another compatible USB-C port if available.
  5. Disconnect extra accessories and test one at a time.
  6. Test with another compatible device, if possible.

2. HDMI Display Has No Image

  1. Check that the HDMI cable is connected securely to the hub and display.
  2. Select the correct HDMI input on the monitor, TV or projector.
  3. Confirm that the host USB-C port supports video output.
  4. Open the host's display settings and check whether the external display is detected.
  5. Try another compatible HDMI cable or display if available.

The HDMI output supports up to 4K × 2K at 30Hz. A USB-C port that supports data or charging does not necessarily support display output.

3. VGA Display Has No Image

  1. Check both ends of the VGA cable.
  2. Select VGA input on the monitor or projector.
  3. Confirm that the host device supports video output through USB-C.
  4. Check the host's display settings.
  5. Try a compatible cable or another display if available.

VGA output supports up to 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz.

4. USB Device Is Not Detected

  1. Check that the accessory is connected to a USB data port, not the PD charging port.
  2. Reconnect the accessory.
  3. Try the USB 3.0 port or one of the USB 2.0 ports as appropriate.
  4. Check whether the accessory requires its own power or driver.
  5. Test another USB device to identify whether the issue is with the accessory or hub.

5. USB Data Transfer Is Slower Than Expected

The port details specify up to 5Gbps for USB 3.0 and up to 480Mbps for USB 2.0. The product listing also advertises up to 10Gbps overall; actual speed depends on the specific port and connected equipment.

  1. Connect a high-speed storage device to USB 3.0.
  2. Confirm the device and its cable support high-speed transfer.
  3. Avoid USB 2.0 for devices that need higher speeds.
  4. Try another file or compatible storage device.
  5. If possible, compare the device directly connected to the host.

6. Ethernet Does Not Work

  1. Connect Ethernet from the router/network outlet to the hub's RJ45 port.
  2. Check that the cable is fully inserted at both ends.
  3. Check link indicators on the router or network port, if available.
  4. Open the host device's network settings and check whether Ethernet appears.
  5. Try another Ethernet cable or router port.
  6. Restart the network connection if required.

The hub lists 10/100/1000Mbps auto-adaptation. Actual speed depends on the router, cable, network service and host device.

7. Host Device Does Not Charge

  1. Connect the hub to the host device.
  2. Connect a compatible USB-C PD charger to the PD charging port.
  3. Confirm the host supports USB-C PD charging.
  4. Check that the charger and cable support a compatible PD rating.
  5. Check the host's charging indicator.

The hub supports up to 100W PD pass-through under compatible conditions. Actual charging power varies. The PD port does not transfer data.

8. SD or TF Card Is Not Detected

  1. Confirm you are using the correct SD or TF/microSD slot.
  2. Reinsert the card in the correct orientation without forcing it.
  3. Wait for the host device to recognize the card.
  4. Check the file manager or operating system's storage tools.
  5. Try another compatible card if available.
  6. Safely eject the card before removing it.

9. Headphones or Speakers Do Not Work Through the 3.5mm Jack

  1. Connect the audio device securely to the 3.5mm jack.
  2. Check the host device's audio output settings.
  3. Increase volume and check that audio is not muted.
  4. Try another compatible headset or speaker if available.
  5. Check whether the connected application has selected a different audio output.

10. Some Ports Work but Others Do Not

The host device must support the relevant function:

  • HDMI/VGA requires video-output support through USB-C.
  • USB ports require USB data support.
  • Ethernet requires host support for the network adapter.
  • PD charging requires USB-C PD support.
  • SD/TF slots require compatible cards.

Check host specifications and test one feature at a time.

11. Connections Drop Intermittently

  1. Check that the integrated USB-C plug is fully seated.
  2. Make sure connected HDMI, VGA, USB and Ethernet cables are not pulling on the hub.
  3. Avoid sharply bending or twisting the integrated cable.
  4. Test with fewer connected accessories.
  5. Check whether the issue occurs on another compatible host device.
