1. Docking Station Is Not Working Properly

Possible causes include an incompatible host device, a faulty connection cable or a temporary connection fault.

  1. Verify that the host device is compatible with USB-C hub functions.
  2. Reconnect the docking station to the host device.
  3. Check whether the host device and cable are functioning normally.
  4. Disconnect and reconnect the cable/device, then try again.
  5. If possible, test the docking station with another compatible host or accessory.

2. HDMI Display Has No Image

  1. Check that the HDMI cable is connected securely to the docking station and display.
  2. Select the correct HDMI input on the monitor, TV or projector.
  3. Confirm that the host USB-C port supports video output.
  4. Open the host device's display settings and check whether the external display is detected.
  5. Try another compatible HDMI cable or display if available.

HDMI output supports up to 4K × 2K at 30Hz. A USB-C port that supports charging or data does not necessarily support display output.

3. VGA Display Has No Image

  1. Check both ends of the VGA cable.
  2. Select VGA input on the monitor or projector.
  3. Confirm that the host device supports video output over USB-C.
  4. Check the host device's display settings.
  5. Try a compatible cable or another display if available.

VGA output supports up to 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz.

4. USB Device Is Not Detected

  1. Check that the accessory is connected to a USB data port rather than the USB-C PD charging port.
  2. Reconnect the accessory.
  3. Try the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port as appropriate.
  4. Check whether the accessory requires its own power or a driver.
  5. Test another USB device to identify whether the issue is with the accessory or docking station.

5. USB Data Transfer Is Slower Than Expected

The USB 3.0 port supports up to 5Gbps, while USB 2.0 supports up to 480Mbps. Actual speeds depend on the host, connected device and workload.

  1. Connect a high-speed device to the USB 3.0 port.
  2. Confirm the device and cable support the expected speed.
  3. Avoid USB 2.0 for devices that need higher transfer speeds.
  4. Try another file or compatible storage device.
  5. Compare performance with the device connected directly to the host, if possible.

6. Ethernet Does Not Work

  1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the router/network outlet to the RJ45 port.
  2. Check that the cable is fully inserted at both ends.
  3. Check link indicators on the router or network port, if available.
  4. Open the host device's network settings and check whether Ethernet appears.
  5. Try another Ethernet cable or router port.
  6. Reconnect the docking station and check again.

The RJ45 port supports 10/100Mbps. Actual speed depends on the network, router, cable and host device.

7. Host Device Does Not Charge

  1. Connect the docking station to the host device.
  2. Connect a compatible USB-C PD charger to the PD port.
  3. Confirm the host device supports USB-C PD charging.
  4. Check that the charger and cable support a compatible PD rating.
  5. Check the host's charging indicator.

The PD port supports up to 100W pass-through charging under compatible conditions. Actual charging power may vary. The PD port does not transfer data.

8. SD or TF Card Is Not Detected

  1. Confirm that you are using the correct SD or TF/microSD slot.
  2. Reinsert the card in the correct orientation without forcing it.
  3. Wait for the host device to recognize the card.
  4. Check the file manager or operating system's storage tools.
  5. Try another compatible card if available.
  6. Safely eject the card before removing it.

9. Headphones or Speakers Do Not Work Through the 3.5mm Jack

  1. Connect the audio device securely to the 3.5mm jack.
  2. Check the host device's audio output settings.
  3. Increase volume and make sure audio is not muted.
  4. Try another compatible headset or speaker if available.
  5. Check whether the app has selected a different audio output.

10. Hub Feels Hot During Use

Some warmth may occur under a full load. The product troubleshooting information notes that the hub may reach around 55°C under full load, within the stated limit of 60°C.

  1. Disconnect the hub if it becomes abnormally hot.
  2. Let it cool before using it again.
  3. Check that the host device and connection cables are functioning normally.
  4. Disconnect unnecessary accessories and test again.
  5. Stop using it and contact support if unusual heating continues.

11. Some Ports Work but Others Do Not

The host device must support each function:

  • HDMI/VGA requires video-output support through USB-C.
  • USB ports require USB data support.
  • Ethernet requires operating-system support for a network adapter.
  • PD charging requires a compatible charger and host charging support.
  • SD/TF slots require compatible memory cards.
  • The 3.5mm jack requires compatible audio support on the host.

Check host-device specifications and test one feature at a time.

12. Devices Disconnect or Data Transfers Stop

  1. Check that the integrated USB-C plug is fully seated.
  2. Make sure accessory cables are not pulling on the hub.
  3. Avoid sharply bending or twisting the integrated cable.
  4. Do not remove cards or storage devices during active data transfer.
  5. Safely eject storage before disconnecting it.
  6. Test with fewer connected devices.
