Issue 1: Portronics Tune Not Showing in Bluetooth List
If Tune does not appear in the Bluetooth device list, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Check Device Power
Ensure the Portronics Tune device is properly inserted into the car USB port.
Confirm that the car ignition is turned ON.
Step 2: Restart Bluetooth on Your Phone
Open Settings on your smartphone.
Turn Bluetooth OFF.
Wait for 5–10 seconds.
Turn Bluetooth ON again.
Step 3: Reconnect the Device
Remove the Portronics Tune from the USB port.
Wait for 10 seconds.
Plug the device back into the USB port.
Step 4: Search for the Device Again
Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone.
Tap Add Device / Scan for Devices.
Look for Portronics Tune in the device list and select it.
Issue 2: Unable to Pair with Smartphone
If the device appears in Bluetooth but pairing fails, try the following steps:
Step 1: Check if the Device is Already Connected
Ensure the Portronics Tune device is not connected to another smartphone.
Step 2: Remove Previous Connections
Go to Bluetooth Settings on your phone.
Find Portronics Tune in the paired device list.
Tap Forget / Remove Device.
Also remove the device from:
Android Auto settings, or
Apple CarPlay paired devices list.
Step 3: Restart Your Smartphone
Turn OFF your smartphone.
Turn it ON again and reopen Bluetooth settings.
Step 4: Pair the Device Again
Search for Portronics Tune in the Bluetooth list.
Tap the device name to pair again.
Step 5: Check Distance
Ensure your smartphone is within 5–8 meters of the device.
Avoid obstacles or interference during pairing.
