Issue 1: Device Not Powering ON

If the Portronics Tune device is not turning ON, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Check USB Connection

  • Ensure the device is properly inserted into the car’s USB port.

  • Push the device firmly to ensure a secure connection.

Step 2: Check Car Ignition

  • Confirm that the car ignition is turned ON, as the USB port receives power only when the car is active.

Step 3: Reinsert the Device

  • Remove the Portronics Tune device from the USB port.

  • Wait for 5–10 seconds, then insert it again firmly.

Step 4: Try Another USB Port

  • If your car has multiple USB ports, try connecting the device to another port.

Issue 2: Connection Lag or Delay

If you experience audio delay, slow response, or connection lag, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Reconnect the Device

  1. Open Bluetooth Settings on your smartphone.

  2. Find Portronics Tune in the paired devices list.

  3. Tap Forget / Remove Device.

  4. Search again and reconnect to Portronics Tune.

Step 2: Restart Your Smartphone

  • Turn OFF your smartphone.

  • Turn it ON again, then reconnect to the device.

Step 3: Check Wireless Settings

  • Ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.

Step 4: Reduce Distance

  • Keep your smartphone closer to the car infotainment system.

  • Avoid keeping the phone too far away or behind obstacles, as this may cause signal delays.

If the issue continues, disconnect the Portronics Tune device from the USB port, restart your car infotainment system, and reconnect the device again.
