My speaker won't turn on
- Plug it in to charge — you'll need your own 5V charger.
- Let it charge for about 4 hours.
- Press and hold the power button.
Note: don't try to use the speaker while it's charging — this helps protect the battery.
My speaker won't turn off or stops responding
Look inside the AUX port for a small reset hole. Use a small pin to gently press it — this resets the speaker.
It won't connect to my phone
- Turn the speaker on.
- On your phone, go to Settings → Bluetooth.
- Look for "Resound 2" and tap it.
If it's stuck trying to connect to a different phone, press the two volume buttons at the same time to disconnect, then try pairing again.
I want to link two Resound 2 speakers together
- Turn both speakers on and make sure both are in Bluetooth mode.
- On one of them, press and hold the mode button — you'll hear a tone when it starts, and another tone once they're linked.
- Connect your phone to either speaker — both will now play together.
Note: this only works properly if both speakers are from the same batch (bought together, or with matching batch numbers).
To disconnect them, just press and hold the mode button again.
I can't answer calls through the speaker
This only works when connected over Bluetooth (not with a cable).
- To answer: tap the middle button once.
- To reject: press and hold the middle button.
- To end the call: tap the middle button once again.
My AUX cable is connected but the buttons act differently than I expect
That's normal — some buttons behave a little differently in AUX mode versus Bluetooth mode. For example, the middle button mutes the sound instead of pausing it, and holding the volume buttons won't skip tracks like it does in Bluetooth mode.
The lights aren't changing
Press and hold the middle (play/pause) button to cycle through the light modes, or turn the lights off completely.
