Toad One Not Appearing in Bluetooth List

Modified on Fri, 6 Mar at 12:31 PM

If the Portronics Toad One mouse does not appear in the Bluetooth device list during pairing, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Check Pairing Mode
Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED indicator should blink rapidly, indicating it is ready to pair.

Step 2: Verify Bluetooth Channel
Confirm the correct Bluetooth channel is selected:

  • Blue Indicator → Toad One

  • Green Indicator → Toad One Plus

Press the circular button to switch between the two modes if required.

Step 3: Activate Pairing Mode
After selecting the desired Bluetooth channel, press and hold the circular button for 5–7 seconds until the LED starts blinking rapidly.

Step 4: Restart Bluetooth on Your Device
Turn Bluetooth OFF and then ON on your laptop, desktop, or mobile device.

Step 5: Restart the Mouse
Turn the mouse OFF, wait a few seconds, and then turn it ON again. Re-enter pairing mode before attempting to connect.

Step 6: Check Battery Level
Ensure the mouse has sufficient charge, as low battery may prevent Bluetooth pairing.

After completing these steps, open your device’s Bluetooth settings and select Portronics Toad One / Portronics Toad One Plus to connect.
