Issue 1: Mouse Not Appearing in Bluetooth List

If the mouse does not appear in the Bluetooth device list, follow these steps:


Step 1: Check Pairing Mode
Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED indicator should blink rapidly.


Step 2: Verify Bluetooth Channel
Confirm the correct Bluetooth channel is selected:

  • Blue Indicator → Toad One

  • Green Indicator → Toad One Plus

Press the circular button to switch between the modes if required.


Step 3: Activate Pairing Mode
After selecting the Bluetooth channel, press and hold the circular button for 5–7 seconds until the LED starts blinking rapidly.


Step 4: Restart Bluetooth on Your Device
Turn Bluetooth OFF and then ON on your laptop, desktop, or mobile device.


Step 5: Restart the Mouse
Turn the mouse OFF, wait a few seconds, then turn it ON again and attempt pairing.


Step 6: Check Battery Level
Ensure the mouse is adequately charged, as low battery may prevent Bluetooth pairing.

After completing these steps, open your device’s Bluetooth settings and select Portronics Toad One / Portronics Toad One Plus to connect.


Issue 2: Mouse Connected but Not Working

Recommended Checks:

  • Remove the mouse from the Bluetooth device list.

  • Restart your laptop or PC.

  • Reconnect the mouse by repeating the pairing steps.

  • Ensure the same Bluetooth channel is not connected to another device.


Issue 3: Frequent Disconnection

Recommended Checks:

  • Maintain a distance within 5–8 meters from the connected device.

  • Fully charge the mouse and test again.

  • Remove the mouse from paired devices and reconnect.


Issue 4: Cursor Lag or Delay

Recommended Checks:

  • Adjust sensitivity using the DPI button.

  • Keep the mouse closer to the device.

  • Close background applications consuming high system resources.

  • Check the battery level of the mouse.


Issue 4: RGB Light not working

If the RGB lighting on the mouse is not working:

Solution:

  • Slide the power toggle switch to the position marked with the Light Icon.

  • This will turn on the mouse with RGB lighting enabled.
