Connectivity & Troubleshooting Guide – Portronics Toad II

Section A: Connecting via 2.4 GHz USB Receiver

Step 1: Turn ON the Mouse
Switch ON the mouse using the power button at the bottom.

Step 2: Select 2.4 GHz Mode
Press the mode (circle) button and ensure the red light near “2.4G” is ON.

Step 3: Insert USB Receiver
Insert the USB receiver into your laptop or PC.

Step 4: Automatic Connection
The mouse will connect automatically. No pairing is required.

If Not Working:

• Reinsert the USB receiver
• Try another USB port
• Ensure the mouse is powered ON

Section B: Connecting via Bluetooth

Step 1: Turn ON the Mouse
Switch ON the mouse.

Step 2: Select Bluetooth Mode
Press the mode button to switch to Toad II or Toad II Plus.

Step 3: Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the mode button for 5–7 seconds until the light starts blinking.

Step 4: Connect Device

• On Windows: Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Add Device → Select Toad II / Toad II Plus
• On macOS: System Settings → Bluetooth → Select Toad II / Toad II Plus

Step 5: Connection Confirmation
Once connected, the light will stop blinking and the mouse will start working.
