1. Quick Reference Table
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Won't turn on | Battery fully discharged | Charge via USB-C for 3–4 hours, then long-press the Power Button |
| Won't pair / not showing in Bluetooth list | Not in Pairing Mode, or connection failure | Long-press the Power Button until LED flashes red & blue; if it still fails, toggle Bluetooth OFF/ON on your device and try again |
| No sound | Not connected, low volume, or wrong output selected | Confirm the LED is solid blue; increase volume with "+"; check audio output device on your phone/laptop |
| Other party can't hear you | Mic muted, or boom mic mispositioned | Check the Mic Mute LED (red = muted) and press the Mute Button to unmute; adjust the flexible boom mic closer to your mouth |
| Call button not working | Wrong press type used | Single press to answer/hang up, press & hold to reject — see button guide below |
| LED flashing red | Low battery | Charge using the supplied USB-C cable |
| Headphones won't power on while charging | This is expected behavior | Unplug the USB-C cable, then power on normally |
2. Headphone Won't Turn On
- Long-press the Power Button — a short press won't switch it on.
- Connect the supplied USB-C cable to charge; a full charge takes 3–4 hours.
- Watch the charging LED while charging: solid red means it's charging, off means fully charged. If there's no LED activity at all on a known-working charger and cable, this points to a hardware fault — contact support.
- Note that the headphones are not designed to be used while charging — if they seem unresponsive with the cable plugged in, unplug it first.
3. Pairing Issues
- Long-press the Power Button — on first-time use, or whenever powered on, it should automatically enter Pairing Mode with the LED flashing red and blue.
- On your phone or laptop, open Bluetooth settings, search for available devices, and select "Muffs A3" from the list.
- Once connected, the flashing lights will stop and the LED turns solid blue.
- Stay within the 10-meter working range of the source device — walls and interference can reduce reliable range.
- If the connection still fails, toggle Bluetooth OFF/ON on your device and try pairing again.
4. No Sound or Poor Audio Quality
- Confirm the LED shows solid blue (connected), not off (powered down) or flashing (pairing mode/low battery).
- Increase the volume with a single press of "+".
- On your phone or laptop, check that Muffs A3 is selected as the active audio output device.
- If audio still isn't playing, toggle Bluetooth OFF/ON on the source device and reconnect.
5. Call & Microphone Issues
Use the Multi-Function Button and Microphone Mute Button with the correct press type:
| Action | Press |
|---|---|
| Answer/end a call | Single press (Multi-Function Button) |
| Reject an incoming call | Press & hold (Multi-Function Button) |
| Redial last number | Press twice (Multi-Function Button) |
| Toggle voice assistant | Press 3 times (Multi-Function Button) |
| Mute/unmute microphone | Press once (Microphone Mute Button) |
If the other party can't hear you clearly:
- Check the Microphone Mute Button's LED — a red light means the mic is muted; press once to unmute.
- Adjust the flexible boom mic so it's positioned closer to your mouth for clearer voice pickup.
- Stay within the 10-meter Bluetooth range of your phone.
6. Battery Draining Faster Than Expected
- Confirm you're charging with the supplied USB-C cable — a full charge should take 3–4 hours.
- Working time of up to 50 hours assumes moderate use; frequent calls, higher volumes, or leaving the mic active can reduce battery life.
- If battery life has dropped noticeably compared to when new, this is typically normal battery aging over time.
7. General Care & Safety
- Do not use the headphones while charging.
- Keep the headphones away from water and extreme heat.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth only — avoid liquid or abrasive cleaners.
8. LED Indicator Reference
| LED | Meaning |

| Flashing Red + Blue | Pairing mode |
| Flashing Red (charging LED) | Low battery |
| Solid Red (charging LED) | Charging |
| Light Off (charging LED) | Fully charged |
| Solid Red (mic mute LED) | Microphone muted |
