1. Quick Reference Table
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Won't turn on | Battery discharged | Charge via DC 5V/2A, then long-press Power for 2 seconds |
| Won't pair over Bluetooth | Not in pairing mode | Long-press Power to restart; confirm the blue light is flashing (pairing mode) |
| TF card / USB not playing | Media inserted after mode set, or wrong format | Reinsert the card/drive; short-press the mode button to select TF or USB |
| AUX not switching automatically | Cable not fully seated | Reseat the AUX cable at both ends |
| No sound during a call | Wrong button used | Short-press Play/Pause (▷) to answer or hang up |
| Volume/track buttons doing the wrong thing | Press length confused | Short press changes volume; long press (2s) changes track |
| Lighting won't change | Wrong button, or lights off | Short-press the Lighting (✳) button to cycle modes; same button turns lights on/off |
| Red light stays on indefinitely | Still charging | Red light only goes off once fully charged — this can take some time |
2. Speaker Won't Turn On
- Long-press the Power button for a full 2 seconds — a short press won't register.
- Connect the charging cable to a DC 5V/2A power source and charge for at least 30–60 minutes.
- Watch for the red charging light; it turns off once fully charged.
- If there's still no response after charging, this may point to a hardware fault — contact support.
3. Won't Pair Over Bluetooth
- Long-press the Power button — the indicator light should turn blue and flash, confirming pairing mode.
- On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Microblast."
- Listen for the confirmation prompt once paired — after this, you can start playing music.
- If it won't pair, power-cycle the speaker and retry, ensuring it isn't already connected to another device.
- Once connected and playing, the light switches to a blue breathing pattern (work mode) — this is normal, not a fault.
4. TF Card or USB Playback Issues
- Insert the TF card or USB drive fully into its slot.
- The speaker should automatically switch to TF or USB mode — if not, short-press the mode/power button to cycle to it manually.
- If nothing plays, check the files are in a commonly supported audio format, and test the card/drive in another device to rule out corruption.
5. AUX Mode Not Switching Automatically
- Plug an AUX cable into the AUX input — the speaker should automatically switch to music/AUX mode.
- If it doesn't switch, reseat the cable at both ends and short-press the power button to manually cycle to AUX mode.
- Once in AUX mode, control playback and volume from the connected source device.
6. Using the AUDIO Output Port
The AUDIO port lets you use an AUX cable to send Microblast's audio out to another device — this is an output, not an input, so it won't play music sent from another source. If you're trying to play audio from another device, use the AUX (input) port instead.
7. Call Handling Not Working
Short-press the Play/Pause (▷) button once to answer an incoming call, and short-press it again to hang up. This only functions while connected via Bluetooth.
8. Volume, Track, or EQ Not Responding as Expected
| Action | Press |
|---|---|
| Increase volume | Short press "+" |
| Decrease volume | Short press "–" |
| Next song | Long press "+" (2s) |
| Previous song | Long press "–" (2s) |
| Cycle EQ presets | Short press "B" |
A common mix-up: pressing briefly when a long press is needed for track skipping, or vice versa for volume.
9. RGB Lighting Not Changing
Short-press the Lighting (✳) button to cycle through the available light shows, or to turn the lights off entirely. If nothing changes, confirm the speaker is powered on — lighting only activates once the unit is running.
10. Charging Issues
- Use the supplied cable with a DC 5V/2A power source.
- Charging: red light flashes. Fully charged: red light turns off.
- If there's no light activity at all while connected to a known-working charger, try a different cable before assuming a hardware fault.
