Monitor tilts or rotates too freelyCheck the VESA adjustment screw and tighten it securely
Arm drops or rises on its ownAdjust arm tension gradually while supporting the monitor
Monitor does not match the VESA plateConfirm 75 × 75mm or 100 × 100mm compatibility and use the correct screws
Cables get caughtReroute cables through the clips/channels and leave enough slack
Desk mount does not fitConfirm desk thickness is 10mm–85mm and choose the correct mounting method

1. The Base or Clamp Feels Loose

  1. Support the arm and remove the monitor if needed before making major adjustments.
  2. For clamp mounting, check that the clamp assembly is fixed to the base plate and secured tightly at the desk edge.
  3. For grommet mounting, check that the threaded rod passes through the desk hole and the securing nut underneath is tight.
  4. Check that the desk surface is stable.
  5. Recheck the screws and mounting hardware before using the arm again.

Do not use the arm if the base moves or the desk surface is unstable.

2. The Arm Does Not Stay at the Selected Height

  1. Support the monitor securely.
  2. Check that the lower arm is correctly seated on the mounting pole.
  3. Tighten the height-locking screw using the supplied Allen key.
  4. Check that the upper and lower arms are properly joined.
  5. Test the height adjustment carefully.

3. Monitor Will Not Attach or Lock to the Arm

  1. Hold the monitor securely.
  2. Confirm the VESA plate is fully tightened to the monitor and sits flat.
  3. Align the VESA plate with the head of the swivel arm.
  4. Slide the plate into position until it clicks.
  5. Engage the locking mechanism and check that the monitor cannot slide out.
  6. Do not let go of the monitor until the lock has been checked.

4. VESA Holes Do Not Match

VESA patterns is 75 × 75mm and 100 × 100mm.

  1. Measure the horizontal and vertical spacing between the monitor’s VESA holes.
  2. Check that the pattern matches one of the supported sizes.
  3. Select the correct supplied screw set for the monitor.
  4. Ensure that the plate sits flat.
  5. Do not force screws into misaligned holes or use screws that are too long.

5. Monitor Tilts Forward or Backward Too Easily

  1. Support the monitor so it cannot drop suddenly.
  2. Use the supplied 6mm Allen key to adjust the VESA plate adjustment screw.
  3. Position the monitor at the required angle.
  4. Tighten the screw securely.
  5. Test the tilt gently.

6. Arm Drops or Rises by Itself

  1. Support the monitor with one hand before adjusting.
  2. Make only a small adjustment to the tension screw using the supplied Allen key.
  3. Test the arm movement carefully.
  4. Follow any markings on your unit and avoid overtightening.
  5. If the arm still will not hold the monitor, contact installation support instead of applying extra force.

7. Monitor Wobbles or Feels Unstable

  1. Check whether the desk itself is stable.
  2. Inspect the clamp or grommet mount and tighten the securing hardware.
  3. Check the screws joining the lower and upper arms.
  4. Confirm the VESA plate is tightly fixed to the monitor.
  5. Check that the monitor is locked into the swivel head.
  6. Stop using the arm if any part appears bent, cracked or damaged.

8. Rotation, Swivel or Tilt Is Restricted

  1. Move the monitor slowly and do not force the joints.
  2. Check whether a locking or adjustment screw is too tight.
  3. Check that the cables have enough slack.
  4. Route cables through the arm channels and plastic wire clips.
  5. Keep cables away from pinch points.
  6. Test the motion again while supporting the monitor.

9. Cables Are Caught or Stretched

  1. Support the monitor and move it back to a safe, neutral position.
  2. Release any cable trapped near a joint.
  3. Route cables through the channels underneath the arm.
  4. Secure them in the plastic wire clips.
  5. Leave enough slack for tilt, swivel and 90° portrait rotation.
  6. Slowly test the monitor’s range of movement.

10. The Mount Does Not Fit the Desk

  1. Measure the desk thickness  (10mm–85mm).
  2. If using a clamp, verify that the clamp can sit securely at the desk edge.
  3. If using a grommet mount, confirm that the desk has a suitable hole.
  4. Tighten the mounting hardware evenly.
  5. Do not install the mount on an unsuitable or unstable desk.

11. Monitor Compatibility or Weight Is Uncertain

Flat and curved monitor supported and VESA patterns of 75 × 75mm and 100 × 100mm, but it does not state a numerical monitor weight or screen-size limit.

Before continuing, check the rating printed on your product or packaging and confirm the monitor weight is within the rated capacity. Do not guess or exceed the rated limit.

12. Maintenance Checks

  • Wipe the mount with a dry cloth; avoid chemicals.
  • Regularly check screw tightness.
  • Recheck arm tension after changing the monitor.
  • Inspect the base, arm joints, VESA plate and locking mechanism before use.
  • Stop using the mount if any component is damaged.
