Issue 1: Portronics Tune Lite Is Not Showing / Not Pairing

If Portronics Tune Lite does not appear or does not start pairing, follow the steps below in the specified order.

Step 1: Check Compatibility

Before troubleshooting, confirm that:

  • The car supports wired Android Auto / Apple CarPlay.

  • The car must have an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) device.

  • The smartphone should have:

    • Android 12 or higher, or

    • iOS 15 or higher.

Step 2: Start the Car and Reset the Car Display

  1. Turn ON the car ignition.

  2. Start the car's infotainment system.

  3. Reset the car display if required.

Step 3: Connect Tune Lite to the Correct USB Port

  1. Insert the Portronics Tune Lite into the car's USB data port.

  2. Do not use a USB port that only provides power.

  3. The manual specifically instructs users to connect Tune Lite to the Data Port.

  4. If required, use the supplied USB-A to Type-C converter.

Step 4: Check Whether the Car Supports Wired Connectivity

If you are unsure whether your car supports wired Android Auto / Apple CarPlay:

  1. Connect your smartphone directly to the car's USB port using a data cable.

  2. Check whether a prompt or information appears on the car display.

  3. If the car display recognizes the connection, the car supports wired connectivity.

  4. If you are still unsure, contact the car manufacturer for confirmation.

Important: Do not connect the mobile phone's Bluetooth directly to the car's stereo/display while setting up Tune Lite.
