CarPlay Disconnect Issue (Tune Lite)

If Apple CarPlay frequently disconnects while using Tune Lite, it may be due to outdated firmware. Updating the firmware can help improve connection stability and performance.

Follow the steps below to update the device firmware.


Step 1: Connect to Tune Lite

  1. Turn on your car ignition and ensure the Tune Lite device is powered ON.

  2. Connect your smartphone to the device using either of the following options:

    • Bluetooth, or

    • Tune Lite Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi Password: 88888888


Step 2: Open the Update Page

  1. Open the Safari browser on your smartphone.

  2. In the address bar, enter the following link:

http://192.168.1.101

  1. Press Enter to open the device settings page.


Step 3: Start the Firmware Update

  1. Scroll down on the page.

  2. Tap Update.

  3. Wait for the update process to complete.

Note:
Do not disconnect the device or turn off the car during the update process.


Step 4: Wait for Device Restart

  • The Tune Lite device will automatically restart after the firmware update is completed.


Step 5: Reconnect CarPlay

  1. Reconnect your smartphone to the Tune Lite device.

  2. Launch Apple CarPlay again.

Your connection should now be stable and ready for use.
