1. Quick Reference Table
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Won't turn on | Battery fully discharged | Charge via USB-C for at least 30–60 minutes, then long-press the Power Button |
| Won't pair / not showing in Bluetooth list | Not in Pairing Mode, or paired to another device | Long-press the Power Button until LED flashes red & blue; forget the device on your phone and re-pair |
| No sound | Not connected, low volume, or wrong output selected | Confirm Bluetooth connection; check volume with "+"; confirm your phone/laptop is routing audio to Muffs M6 |
| Call button not working | Wrong press type used | Use a single press to answer/end, press & hold to reject — see button guide below |
| LED flashing red | Low battery | Charge using the supplied USB-C cable and a 5V/2A adapter |
| AUX not working | Cable not fully seated, or source device muted | Reseat the 3.5mm AUX cable at both ends; check the source device's own volume |
2. Headphone Won't Turn On
- Long-press the Power Button — a short press won't switch it on.
- Connect the supplied USB-C cable to a 5V DC/200mA (or 5V/2A) adapter and charge for at least 30–60 minutes.
- Check the LED while charging: solid red means it's charging, off means fully charged. If there's no LED activity at all while connected to a known-working charger and cable, this points to a hardware fault — contact support.
3. Pairing Issues
- Long-press the Power Button until the LED flashes red and blue — this confirms Pairing Mode is active.
- On your phone or laptop, open Bluetooth settings, forget any existing "Muffs M6" entry, then search again and select it fresh.
- If it was previously paired to another device, note that Muffs M6 supports dual pairing — it can stay connected to two devices at once, so check whether it's already linked to a different phone or laptop first.
- Move closer to the source device — reliable range is up to 10 metres, and walls or interference can reduce that.
4. No Sound or Poor Audio Quality
- Confirm the LED shows solid blue (connected), not off (powered down) or flashing (pairing mode/low battery).
- Increase the volume with a single press of "+".
- On your phone or laptop, check that Muffs M6 is selected as the active audio output device, not the built-in speakers.
- If using the AUX cable, confirm it's fully seated at both ends and that Bluetooth is turned off on the source device (AUX and Bluetooth can conflict on some phones).
5. Call & Microphone Issues
Use the Multi-Function Button (⋯) with the correct press type:
| Action | Press |
|---|---|
| Answer a call | Single press |
| End a call | Single press |
| Reject/ignore an incoming call | Press & hold |
| Redial last number | Double press & hold |
| Activate/deactivate voice assistant | Long press |
If the other party can't hear you clearly, check that nothing is covering the microphone and that you're within the 10m Bluetooth range of your phone.
6. AUX Mode Issues
- Reseat the 3.5mm AUX cable firmly at both the headphone and the source device.
- Check the source device's own volume and mute status — AUX mode is passive and won't be affected by the headphone's Bluetooth volume controls.
- Note that call and track-control buttons may behave differently or not respond at all in AUX mode, depending on the source device.
7. Battery Draining Faster Than Expected
- Confirm you're charging with the supplied USB-C cable and a 5V/2A adapter — other chargers may charge less efficiently.
- Playback time of up to 40 hours assumes moderate volume; higher volumes and voice-assistant use will reduce this.
- If battery life has dropped noticeably compared to when new, this is typically normal battery aging over time.
8. LED Indicator Reference
| LED State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Solid Blue | Power ON / Connected |
| Off | Power OFF |
| Red & Blue Flashing | Pairing Mode |
| Flashing Red | Low battery |
| Solid Red | Charging |
| Off (while charging) | Fully charged |
