Product Overview

The Portronics Twins 29 are smart TWS earbuds with touch controls, voice-assistant support, Music/Game mode switching, ANC/Transparency mode and USB-C charging.

Quick Reference

What's in the Box

First-Time Pairing

1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
2. The earbuds automatically power on.
3. The earbuds automatically switch to pairing mode.
4. Open Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet.
5. Search for Twins 29.
6. Select Twins 29 to connect.
7. After successful pairing, the earbuds provide the connection indication.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone/tablet.
2. Search for Twins 29.
3. Select the earbuds to connect.
4. Once connected, start music playback or use the earbuds for calls.

Note: If the earbuds remain unpaired for about 5 minutes, they will switch off.

Touch Controls

Voice Assistant

1. Make sure the earbuds are connected to your smartphone.
2. Press and hold the Left or Right earbud for about 3 seconds.
3. The voice assistant interface opens on the smartphone.

Supported commands depend on the connected smartphone and its enabled voice assistant.

Music & Game Modes

The earbuds support different listening modes.

• Music Mode for normal listening.
• Game Mode for gaming.

Triple tap either earbud to switch between the available modes.

ANC & Transparency Mode

The earbuds support ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and Transparency Mode.

Use the specified triple-tap touch control to cycle through the supported listening modes.

• ANC: Helps reduce surrounding background noise.
• Transparency: Allows more awareness of surrounding sounds.

Using a Single Earbud

Single-earbud use is supported.

1. Remove the earbud you want to use from the charging case.
2. Follow the normal Bluetooth pairing procedure.
3. Pair the earbud with your smartphone.
4. Use the selected earbud independently for supported functions.

Charging the Earbuds

1. Place the earbuds correctly inside the charging case.
2. Make sure each earbud is seated correctly.
3. Close the case.
4. The case indicator confirms that the earbuds are charging.
5. Allow sufficient time for charging to complete.

For first use, fully charge the earbuds before extended use.

Charging the Case

1. Connect the supplied Type-C cable to the charging case.
2. Connect the other end to a suitable USB power source.
3. Allow approximately 1.5 hours for charging.
4. Keep the case closed while the earbuds are charging.

Manual Power-Off

1. Press and hold the Left or Right earbud for about 5 seconds.
2. Wait for the voice prompt indicating power off.
3. The white LED confirms the power-off state.

Automatic Power-Off

After use:

1. Place the earbuds back into the charging case.
2. Close the lid.
3. The earbuds automatically switch off and enter charging mode.

How to Reset

If the earbuds are not connecting properly:

1. Place the earbuds back in the charging case.
2. Unpair or forget Twins 29 from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
3. If the earbuds are connected, press and hold the earbuds until they turn off.
4. Place them back into the charging case.
5. Remove the earbuds again and pair with Twins 29.

Battery & Playtime

Actual battery life can vary depending on volume, calls, listening mode, Bluetooth use and operating conditions.

Care & Safety

• Follow the instructions before use.
• Do not use the earbuds in extreme temperatures.
• Do not expose the product to rain, moisture or excessive heat.
• Do not dismantle or modify the earbuds or charging case.
• Keep the charging contacts clean and dry.
• Do not place the charging case near heat sources.
• Avoid listening at maximum volume for prolonged periods.

Hearing Safety

The manual recommends using the product below maximum volume. Prolonged listening at very high volume may affect hearing. Reduce the volume if you experience discomfort, pain or ringing.
