Section A: Connection via 2.4 GHz USB Receiver
Step 1: Power ON the mouse.
- Switch the mouse to 2.4G mode.
- Ensure the device is sufficiently charged.
Step 2: Insert USB Receiver
- Plug the USB receiver into your laptop/PC.
- The mouse will connect automatically (plug & play).
Step 3: Confirmation
- Move the mouse to verify cursor movement.
- If not working, try a different USB port.
Section B: Connection via Bluetooth
Step 1: Power ON the Mouse
- Switch the mouse to Bluetooth (BT) mode.
Step 2: Activate Pairing Mode
- Press and hold the mode/pairing button for 5–7 seconds.
- LED indicator will blink rapidly (pairing mode).
Step 3: Enable Bluetooth on Device
For Windows:
- Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices
- Turn Bluetooth ON
- Click Add Device → Bluetooth
- Select Portronics Toad 6 → Connect
For macOS:
- Open System Settings → Bluetooth
- Turn Bluetooth ON
- Select Portronics Toad 6 → Connect
Step 4: Connection Confirmation
- Cursor movement confirms successful connection.
- Mouse is now ready to use.
